TORBAY MODS SCOOTER CLUB was formed by Paul, Mike and Stan in 2007 for riders of Lambretta or Vespa scooters in South Devon. Mike left the area to live in sunny Cornwall and sadly our dear friend Stan passed away in 2011 after a valiant fight against cancer. Tribute To Stan The Man. Paul has been running the club with the help of other members ever since and is Vice Chairman. Contact Paul

HIGHLIGHTS OF 2023
Invite: We would like to meet anyone with a Mod style or standard looking scooter (See examples on OUR SCOOTERS and GALLERY & VIDEOS page) who are interested in joining our club for rallies and events . JOIN OUR CLUB. You don’t have to live in Torbay to be a member of
Torbay Mods SC as long as you own a scooter and can join us now and again for ride outs etc. Apart from Torbay, we also have members from Plymouth, Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey, Kingsteignton, Dawlish, Totnes, and South Brent. So come and join in the fun and
show off your scooters just as we did in the 60s and 70s. If you see any of us on the road give us a toot or wave and we’re sure to wave back. If you’re interested in joining, returning to the scene or just want to have a look at OUR SCOOTERS then you’re very welcome to come along to one of our ride outs on SUNDAY MORNINGS (all year round weather permitting) or WEDNESDAY NIGHTS (mostly summer months). Also you can meet some of us on Northern Soul/Mod Nights at various venues where The Vinyl Avengers will be playing great classics from the past. Always check with us first – CONTACT PAGE. Auto/Electric rider? We are more of a ‘SCOOTER CLUB’ embracing all types of scooters whether 2 stroke, 4 stroke or electric. Many people ask us if they can join with a modern retro auto scooter, well if for example you have an ELECTRIC (RETRO STYLE), LAMBRETTA V SPECIAL, ROYAL ALLOY GT etc, SCOMADI TT etc, LML, LEXMOTO VIENNA, MODENA/MILANO OR VESPA (auto) model in our opinion it does have a big hint of a classic scooter in its design, so we welcome them although some shows we enter they may not be suitable for displaying. We do not like to disappoint so if you own one of these scooters and you join because you want to be a part of our club and join in the fun then that’s fine with us! JOIN OUR CLUB

Fancy a 60’S theme at your BIRTHDAY/CHRISTMAS party or a lift to your WEDDING on the back of a scooter?? We are fully insured and can display our scooters (optional under cover Gazebo) or take you on time to your destination (Maximum lift 5 miles). Just contact Paul with the date and location and we will give you a quote. We recently surprised Ashley on his wedding day by just turning up at Lupton House near Brixham. Ashley and his best men thoroughly enjoyed it as can be seen in this picture!
