George, Steve and Paul set off for France on
Tuesday 23rd June by taking the scooters up to Portsmouth for the
overnight ferry to Le Havre. After camping one night in Normandy and
the next on the banks of the river Seine they headed up to Amiens on
Friday 26th to camp on the football ground where the Beat Sugar
event took place. It was good value with breakfast included
and there was an optional barbeque every night just as the discos
began. Britain's own Emma Cox was doing one of the Discos and the
music could be heard all through the night. It was a very Euro
scooter event with well over 100 people taking part. They arrived
back in England on Sunday night but didn't get back to Torbay until
the early hours of Monday morning... Photos were taken by Paul
