Due to the cold weather only 7 of Torbay Mods took part in this ride out to Buckfast Abbey where we met the Plymouth guys making the numbers up to about 20! Hopefully we will get to meet up with the Exeter club St James one day as they decided not to venture out on this occasion. It was extremely cold and one unfortunate rider hoping to join us from Barnstaple came off on the ice and broke his wrist. We all wish him a speedy recovery and hope to meet him on another ride out. Due to the conditions we decided to avoid driving over Dartmoor and instead headed straight up the A38 to Bovey Tracey where we had lunch. It was nearly called off but I'm sure everyone who took part will agree it was after all well worth the effort.  Thanks to everyone who took part and particularly those who assisted with marshalling and the breakdowns of which there were 2.
