Ride out to Kingsbridge raises £79.88 for the Rowcroft Hospice charity

48 scooterists from clubs in the area turned up at the Pen Inn for an inter-club ride out which was supposed to go to Dartmoor, but due to the bad weather was diverted to Kingsbridge via Torquay. A big thank you to everyone that donated a pound or more to raise a whopping £79.88! Our club have added to this making a grand total £100 for the charity ROWCROFT HOSPICE in Torquay! A cheque was presented to them through Stan on Friday 21st January at the Rowcroft Hospice! Stan said "the staff here are angels and they deserve all the help they can get". "Thanks to everyone for their generosity"  Last picture in the slide show is Stan receiving the cheque at Rowcroft Hospice.

Clubs that I recall that were there were The Showmen, Riviera SC, Isca SC, Plymouth Quay SC and Southern Templers SC. Thanks to everyone for turning up and sorry if you got lost on the ride out trying to get to Kingsbridge but the traffic lights (15 of them mostly changing to red!!!) between Newton Abbot and Torquay sea front, made it very difficult to keep everyone together! Umm wonder how much Sat Nav is on Ebay? ;-)
