Report: 3 Torbay Mods get up early on Sunday 20th July 2008 and head for Birmingham so they can take part in the big Midlands rally! Paul, George and Stan with his sister Dot as passenger had a trouble free journey to Stratford when they meet up with over 300+ other scooterists from clubs all over the Midlands in a McDonald's car park in Birmingham. The weather was good and the tourists in Stratford were amazed when they saw the convoy of Lambrettas and Vespas arriving and parking up on the grass in the centre of town. Paul took plenty of pictures and we were grateful to Stan's family who welcomed us back in Birmingham with refreshments before we set off on the long journey home Please ask permission from Torbay Mods Scooter Club before using any of these pictures |
