There were 8 from our club that attended this rally held at Golden Coast Holiday Park, near Woolacombe and we had a great time on the Friday and Saturday. The new outdoor disco with sand dance floor was popular and on Saturday lunch time the band called The Liquidators did a great set there which we really enjoyed. The ride out was a short blast to Woolacombe where as usual we displayed all the scooters at the side of the road for everyone to see. On Saturday evening we watched the Psychic act which our member Steve Adamski took part in and gave us all a good laugh (Cheers Steve, you were the best Gold fish impersonator there lol !) Then we did ten pin bowling which lasted one and a half hours before going up to The Northern Soul room (one of the 3 discos on the campsite!) where some great dancers were filling the floor. A big thanks to The South West Scooter Club for organising this marvellous national event which seems to get better and better every year! Thanks too to the Holiday Park staff there who made us feel very welcome. And thank god for lovely weather to go with it.
